Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 2025

1. Age requirement

The Crowd is intended for users aged 16 and over. The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we become aware that a user under 16 has created an account, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.

2. Content moderation

The Crowd allows users to post comments on daily questions. We maintain the following safeguards:

  • All daily questions are created and reviewed by our team before publication. No user-generated questions are accepted.
  • Comments are subject to automated and manual moderation. Content that is abusive, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise harmful is removed.
  • Users can report any comment directly within the app.
  • Repeat offenders are banned from the platform.

3. No exploitation of minors

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits or endangers minors. Any such content discovered on our platform will be immediately removed, the account permanently banned, and the matter reported to the relevant authorities including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required by law.

4. Social features

The Crowd includes social features (friend connections, comments, and leaderboards). These features require a verified account and are subject to our moderation policies. Friend connections are opt-in and require mutual acceptance.

5. Reporting harmful content
